How Payouts Work
Your earnings accumulate in real-time in your Teka dashboard. Once your balance reaches the minimum withdrawal threshold, you can request a payout. Payouts are processed on the 26th of each month and deposited directly to your bank account in your local currency.
South African creators receive their earnings in ZAR via EFT directly to any South African bank account. There are no foreign exchange fees and no third-party payment processor involved for SA creators.
Setting Up Your Payout Account
Setting up your payout account takes under 5 minutes:
1. Open the Teka app and go to your Profile.
2. Tap "Earnings" → "Payout Settings."
3. Enter your bank account details (account number, bank name, branch code for SA creators).
4. Verify your identity with a valid South African ID or passport number.
5. Done. Your payout account is active and will be used for all future withdrawals.
Transparency: Your Full Earnings History
Every rand you earn is logged in your Teka dashboard with the date, video, and ad event that generated it. You can see your full earnings history, pending balance, and withdrawal history at any time. There are no mystery deductions and no opaque payout calculations.
