Wow, what a weekend for South African sport! George Kusche and Gerda Steyn absolutely flew at Comrades, both smashing records in the up run from Durban to Pietermaritzburg. Seeing our own athletes dominate like that, especially with Gerda grabbing her fifth title and George setting a new men's record, just gives you goosebumps.
