Pakistan Budget & Economy 2026
August 31, 2026

Assalam u Alaikum everyone! Hope you're all doing well. It's been an interesting August for Pakistan's economy. The rupee has been pretty stable against the dollar, hovering around Rs. 278, which is a relief to see. However, our fuel import bill is still quite high, impacting everything. The government is pushing for a productivity-led economy and trying to attract more investment, but it seems like we're still waiting for a big breakthrough on that front. What's your take – have you personally felt any positive changes from the recent budget's tax relief measures for salaried people or businesses yet?
